Ready To Unfold

Another macro shot from Maui.  This was taken on my first day of using my new macro lens, which was an interesting learning experience.  I had no idea how difficult it would be to get a sharp, in focus shot, without a tripod, in low light or when there were overcast skies.  Throw in a slight breeze and the fun really began! I did come away with a few keepers though...  I particularly like this one because it reminds me of a drill head on an oil rig.  Or an alien...
